Verrado Golf Course Wedding

Bailey and Dillon grew up in a small town.  She was a year ahead of him in school, and because they hung out with different people their paths didn’t really cross until later in life.  Bailey went off to college and Dillon went out into the military.   At the end of 2019, Bailey lost her Grandma and came home to spend a few weeks with her family.  During this time Dillon was working with her dad and reached out to her as he had just lost his Grandma a few months before and knew what she was going through.  They became really good friends and eventually started dating shortly after.

Bailey had an idea Dillon was going to propose when her neighbor, who they hang out with every weekend, asked her to go get her nails done with her.  Dillon was home cleaning the house and she started putting pieces together.  She eventually chats with her BFF and tells her she thinks Dillon is going to propose, but her best friend said he never reached out to her, so Bailey decides maybe it’s not going to happen.  So she continues her girls’ day with her neighbor.  When they were done, and headed home, her neighbor got really quiet.  Bailey walks in the door and there are rose petals leading out to her backdoor with Dillon standing there shaking with a sign that says Marry Me.  So cute, right?!  Fast forward to their wedding day and it was beautiful!  From the soft blues to the greenery, the day was perfect.  Maybe a little hot – thanks to the weather man for getting it wrong and us believing it was going to 80 degrees!  It only ended up 20 degrees over that! ha!

One of my favorite things about Verrado is the multiple places you can get married at.  You can choose from Verrado Golf Club or The Vic Bar and Grille.  While both locations are beautiful, I love it when couples pick both!  It really gives us a chance to highlight the uniqueness of both venues and it gives our couples a chance to have photos at both places.

Bailey and Dillon got married up at The Vic Bar and Grille and then had their cocktail hour and reception down at the Verrado Golf Club. One of my favorite parts of their wedding was during the reception, their uncle who officiated the wedding brought them a custom-made guitar that he had hand-made.  With a photo on the back and a few on the front, this was really a one-of-a-kind, truly unique gift that they’ll cherish for a lifetime.  Enjoy a few of my favorites from their day! xx
