A Joyful Sage and Navy Wedding at The Secret Garden
Every once and a while one of my brides has a special way with florals. Alexis is that bride. She knew early on how she wanted her bouquets to look. With hints of navy and beautiful eucalyptus, she took creative control and the end results were beautiful! Inspired Sugar made one of the yummiest and cute prickly pear inspired cakes! I’m telling you guys, from the handmade bouquets, to the white bridesmaid dresses, this wedding has all kinds of unique aspects!
Alexis and I have known each other since we were teenagers. Her dad was a tattoo artist, and I actually got my first tattoo from him. He may look intimidating but he’s one of the sweetest guys I’ve ever met. He has a huge heart for Jesus and he wanted to do something special for both Alexis and Austin.
As Alexis was putting on her finishing touches, Scooby knocked on the door. He quietly walked in and shared a private moment with her. As they prayed together, he anointed her with oil. Then he went and did the same with Austin. It was really a special moment. One I’m grateful I had the opportunity to be a part of.
Austin and Alexis, thank you for allowing me to be such a special part of your day. Your wedding was filled with so much joy and love and we can’t wait to watch your love grow! xo
