McDowell Mountain Golf Club Wedding
We just loved being a part of Heather and Aaron’s McDowell Mountain Golf Club wedding. These two are just the sweetest couple and their wedding was so much fun to shoot.
Aaron and Heather met in high school math class. She was a sophomore and he was a junior. They instantly bonded over the fact that they were put in the same group for group class work. They were the only two in the group not on the football team.
When I asked Heather what the best part of her wedding day was, she said, “Getting to celebrate our love story with all our friends and family. Our love story was a very long time in the making and each person that was at our wedding played a part in the story. Whether it be one of our parents, a school teacher, a best friend, or even a college roommate.”
She also said a piece of advice that she would give to future brides would be, “Absolutely do a first look with just you and your husband. We wrote letters with promises to each other and gave them to each other to read. On days that are hard or when you’re arguing pull out those letters and read them! We loved that special time with just us two before the craziness of the wedding began. Your wedding day will fly by and you will be pulled in 90 million directions, so it’s SO important to take that time for just you two. Even if it makes your wedding not start on time I promise your guests will wait for it to start.”
