A Gainey Ranch Wedding
Jen and Chris met at work, working in close-by departments. They became friends and started hanging out with other work friends. It wasn’t until one year later that Chris finally asked Jen out!  He came over one night and asked her out to dinner! She was so surprised! She had secretly liked him but never thought they would go on a date! A few weeks later they went to dinner and a movie and have been together ever since.
Chris knew it was time for the next step after they had been together for almost four years. They had already planned a Fourth of July trip to New York to visit his family and enjoy the beach and city! With the help of Chris’s aunt and cousin, they planned the set up for the proposal on the beach right during sunset.  They took a ferry ride across the bay to Davis Park Beach, where they walked up to a blanket, a bottle of champagne, roses, and ‘Marry Me?’ written in the sand! His family was at the nearby restaurant cheering!  After a few tears she said yes, and they followed with a celebration and drinks on the beach with his family! Then they ended the night with a ferry ride back to the city with fireworks all around them for the 4th of July celebrations!
The wedding day was filled with tons of giggles and champagne!  The girls got ready at The McCormick Scottsdale, and the guys got ready at Gainey Ranch.  Jen and Chris shared a first look.  This allowed them to get about 40% more portraits!  It also let them get the wedding party pictures done so they didn’t have to worry about that after the ceremony! Chris’ excitement showed as he jogged down the isle making sure he didn’t mess up any of the florals đŸ˜‰ There wasn’t a dry eye around as Jen and her Daddy walked down the aisle.  After the ceremony, we were able to get some romantic sunset pictures!  (I may have had to sneak in a picture with Jen, too đŸ™‚ ) Then back to cocktail hour Jen and Chris went!   During their reception, DJ Robert Walk played some amazing music which kept the dance floor hopping all night! The guests also enjoyed a sweet treat from Leslie’s Creative Cakes! We’re excited to share some of our favorites from their Gainey Ranch Wedding! xo
