Desert Engagement Photographer
Alicia and JP’s met through mutual friends, back in 2015. After some flirtatious banter was exchanged back and forth, JP asked Alicia on a date. After sharing their first date at Kabuki, they enjoyed a nightcap at the Thirsty Lion and had the most amazing time getting to know each other.
In March of 2017, Alicia had planned to move back to her hometown in California. Shortly after dating, she knew JP was the one and canceled her move. It was the best decision she ever made!
Nearly four years worth of wonderful memories later they have two amazing pups (Bruiser and Braxton) and have traveled the world together. In August of 2019, JP popped the question at sunset in Rocky Point, Mexico, Alicia said yes!
For their engagement session, we took advantage of the gorgeous desert landscape. Alicia wore this gorgeous flowy dress – I always recommend flowy dresses for engagement sessions. They create beautiful movement during your session, and it just makes the session much more romantic. Then to add a bit more fun, they brought super cute champagne glasses and a bottle of champagne! I’m so excited for their January wedding, at The Windmill Winery, in Florence, Arizona!
Stunning right?? Some of my favorite shops to get flowy dresses like these are Lulus, Vici, and Pink Lily. To book your engagement session click here!
