Windmill Winery Lake Wedding
I’ve always loved photographing weddings at the Windmill Winery Lake House. From the deck out on the water, the quaint lake house that feels so intimate, and the unlimited places to shoot – this place has it all. So when Cassie and Dillon said they were getting married here, I knew it was going to be amazing!
They decided to marry on one of the coldest days of the year – January 1st. Unlike most couples, they chose to have a morning wedding. So after shooting getting ready and details at their hotel, we headed over to the Windmill Winery Lake house. Now normally, its pretty cold in Phoenix (think 40’s-50’s) in January – but it actually snowed this day. So I know when Dillon saw Cassie during their first look, he made sure to ask her if shew as warm enough. Gotta love a man with a heart.
I think one of my favorite things from their wedding was the fact that it was held during the day, they gave out hangover kits to their wedding party (since the night before was New Years Eve) and instead of a dinner, they served a lunch. There was so much time for portraits of the two of them – thanks to their first look. I could go on and on! Instead – enjoy a few of my favorites from their day! xo
I just love Windmill Winery Lake Weddings!
