Windmill Winery Lake House Wedding

Every once and a while I have a couple who is military and can’t do an engagement session because one of them is either deployed or active duty in another state. That was the case for Danielle and Trent. And that was actually ok, because if you know anything about me – I love my couples and strive to build a relationship with them so the day of the wedding, it’s not awkward and weird.

So after video chatting (thank you technology!) and learning more about them I knew their wedding day was going amazing! Their wedding took place at Windmill Winery’s Lake House in Florance, Arizona. Instead of having a first look with Trent, Danielle did a first look with her Dad. I swear those get me every time! I especially love it when Dad’s cry…it just rips at my mom heart! After praying with their pastor it was officially time to get married! The two shared in communion and also a unity braid ceremony which symbolizes the joining of the couple and God into a marriage.

Then it was time for sunset portraits….my faaaavorite!! You’d never know these two didn’t have an engagement session! Another fav of mine – the reception details! Pinecones, candles and romantic ambiance everywhere!!! Let’s just say my little detail obsessed heart was in Heaven!
