It’s funny how people come in and out of your life. I actually grew up around Breanna’s family when I was a teenager and our paths just happened to cross again! I love offering engagement sessions because it gives me a chance to work with each of my couples before the big day. It’s always so important that you get along with your photographer because let’s be honest, they’re the person you’re going to spend the most time with the day of the wedding – even more than your fiancé!

During an engagement session, I get to teach my couples how to pose. What looks natural for their body. How to interact with each other so you can get those candid shots but also so you don’t shove your nose in the air and have 8 chins. No one enjoys that! And because a lot of my couples are blended families it’s also fun to get to work with the kids before the big day too.

Breanna and Shawn have a sweet little girl who got to be a part of their desert engagement session. She is the sweetest thing ever! Just wait until you see her cute face! Enjoy a few of my favorites from their day!
