Ardovino’s Desert Crossing
Mike and I were beyond thrilled when Adrian and Katie asked us to come to El Paso for their wedding! The weather was a good 10 degrees cooler when we flew in on Friday. After learning more about how Ardovino’s Desert Crossing uses local and organic food, I was even more excited to see it!
The day started off with small showers but we were able to capture some of the venue along with some details. Adrian and Katie chose not to see each other until the ceremony, so we made sure to get some wedding party pictures beforehand.
With dark clouds quickly moving in, the ceremony started a few minutes early. Adrian and Katie were able to exchange their vows under an amazing lightning show and sealed their vows with a kiss. As they started walking down the aisle thunder roared and it started to pour! Everyone managed to escape inside just in time for an awesome reception filled with lots of fun dancing and yummy food.
Katie and her bridesmaids chose to recreate the picture from Bridesmaids. I’m pretty sure it was captured on at least 10 cell phones! When it came time for the Mother Son dance, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. As she sang him the words to the song, I had to wipe my eyes a few times <3
