Ashely Castle Wedding
After meeting online, Krystin and Steve’s relationship grew quickly. They knew very early on that they wanted to get married. Steve had purchased Krystin’s ring about three months in without her knowing and was just waiting for the right time to give it to her.
He was knee-deep in medical school and had a bunch of tests the week of Krystin’s birthday. Since they lived in different cities, Krystin figured she would not be seeing him on her birthday due to their crazy schedules. Steve, being the thoughtful guy he is, still wanted to do all that he could to make her birthday special.
Beginning 8 days before her birthday, Steve had arranged for Krystin’s mom to give her one gift from him a day along with a note and a wooden letter to collect. On day 7, Krystin was given a board with flags hanging and a note with a riddle to solve. After solving the riddle and arranging the letters appropriately, she soon realized that one letter was missing, D-I-A-M-O-N…..D!!! Day 8 was her birthday and when she jumped out of bed to get her last letter and final gift, she found a beautiful diamond necklace! Totally throwing her off ( ; After enjoying dinner with her family, Krystin was saying goodbye to everyone and Steve walked up behind her, totally surprising her – he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!
Fast forward to their wedding day at The Ashley Castle! The ceremony took place out in the garden with beautiful coral and blush florals along with gorgeous chandeliers hanging from above. Krystin and Steve shared in communion during their ceremony. It was really special to watch both sets of their parents come up and pray over them.
During the reception, Krystin’s dad gave his toast and got to play guitar with Static Dance Band. If you want to have a lot of energy at your wedding, definitely think about hiring a band! The guests danced all night long and then sent Krystin and Steve away with a sparkler send-off. Enjoy a few of our favorites from their Ashely Castle Wedding day! xo
