Phoenix Marriott Resort Tempe at The Buttes
Heidi and Jagan met while both working for Arizona State University. While they were in Chicago visiting Heidi’s Mom, they decided to take a walk. But this walk would be different than any other they took that week. As they got down to the docks Jagan proposed!!
The day of their wedding, the weather was perfect! Jagan’s family had flown all the way in from India to be a part of the wedding. With friends and family coming in from all over the world, you could really feel the love these two families shared.
Heidi’s dress was custom-made by a sweet friend named Noemi who lives down in Mexico. She had so much fun designing the dress. Heidi got to pick out each detail that went on it. It was really neat to see! Noemi also made Heidi’s mom’s dress that she wore to the wedding along with her wedding dress!! Talk about an awesome tradition!
After the ceremony we had about 10 minutes of light left. Heidi took off her Jimmy Choo’s and threw on some sandals. She ran up to the top of the mountain right behind the ceremony location! We were able to get some really pretty portraits with the sun setting and the Phoenix skyline in the background!
