Jonathan and Amanda met online. They spent a couple months talking on the phone before they decided to go on a date. Jonathan had pictured their first date to be fun and exciting! He wanted to take Amanda mudding. Amanda wasn’t so keen on this idea. Instead she decided coloring Easter eggs was a lot safer! They’ve been together ever since!
After dating for a while, Jonathan knew Amanda was the one. After a lot of planning with his best friends mom and Amanda’s mom, Jonathan finally figured out how to propose. He had planned a trip back to Ohio to introduce Amanda and his baby girl Harley to his family and friends. His best friend’s mom set up a late Christmas celebration. Half way through, he put Harley into a onesie that said, “Will You Marry My Daddy?” on it! Everyone gathered around for a group picture and as they handed Harley to Amanda to hold she quickly read her onesie and began to cry. Jonathan got down on one knee and Amanda says she was instantly filled with happy tears and it all became a blur!
The day of their engagement session I was so excited to see them! They had brought along Harley and both of Amanda’s parents. Her family lives out of state so it was really fun watching them get to spend time with their soon to be grand-baby. Amanda told me that their wedding was going to be country chic. He’s the country one and she’s the chic 😉 So when they arrived in cowboy boots I knew we were going to have a great time! After a lot of laughs and a few kisses too, these two nailed their engagement session! Enjoy a few of my favorites from their day! xo
