Sedona Engagement Photos
Danielle and Alex met through a mutual friend. Alex was volunteering at the organization Danielle’s friend worked at and when she found out he was single she insisted Danielle go on a date with him. Danielle says, “It’s been a fairytale ever since!”
When it came time to get engaged, Alex coordinated the proposal for months. He and Danielle went to Colorado to visit her family. He was able to gather her entire family for a fancy dinner on a Saturday night. Little did Danielle know that he had secretly invited his parents to be there for the proposal as well. After she saw his parents, she said she got a tad bit suspicious and that’s when he got down on one knee and proposed!
Being that they LOVE to explore, it only made sense that we went to Sedona for their engagement photos. They rented a truck and we drove all the way up to Merry Go Round Rock. I will say, if you plan to make this drive, you should take some sort of lifted or 4×4 vehicle with decent clearance as there are a lot of bumps, dips and rocks that you have to make your way around. After we parked we were able to hike the rest of the way up to Merry Go Round Rock. There was a storm coming, but we were able to get their entire session done before we got sprinkled on! Being able to see the entire city below, and watch the lighting show was awesome! We can’t wait for their Windmill Winery Wedding in a few months! Enjoy a few of my favorites from their session!
